I want classes, how do I get a place?

or email us, classes@nctlincoln.org.uk. Classes fill up quickly, so booking ahead is essential if you want that place.

Courses are held in Dunholme at our tutor's home, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and there is plenty of parking space. Groups are limited to 6 couples because that works best for making new friends and for giving everyone time to discuss what is important to them.

Discussion is informal and led by you - it can cover coping in labour, stages of labour and birth, breastfeeding, changes a baby brings, babycare. Whatever you want to know about labour and birth, we will tell you as honestly as we can. By using up-to-date research and evidence we can give you the skills to get a positive birth and start to parenting.

Three types of antenatal course are offered,

6 week courses cost £102.50 per couple.

5 week courses cost £84 per couple

One to One sessions may also be available, please contact us for details

Concessions and discounts are available for parents who would otherwise struggle to pay.

Both mums and dads-to-be are welcome at all classes but an evening class has been included in daytime courses to ensure that partners can attend at least one session. Women are entitled to time off work to attend antenatal classes.

What if I don’t live locally?

Antenatal classes are also available at East Markham (A57 - Bassetlaw) which may be particularly convenient if you live West or North West of Lincoln, or the Gainsborough or Saxilby areas. Classes are also running in Newark, Grantham and Bourne areas.
