Help for new parents
You may have spent a lot of time planning and preparing for your new arrival. Once ‘the bump’ has become a real, live baby you may find that life has changed dramatically.
The Lincoln branch of the National Childbirth Trust offers Postnatal Courses to
help with just that.
They take place on Saturday mornings, 10am - noon, so that dads can attend.
NCT postnatal courses are designed to give new parents a chance to talk through
their experiences and the decisions and changes faces by all new parents in a
safe and confidential small group (maximum 10 people).
The courses are a chance to meet other parents and their babies in a friendly
and sociable environment.
Discussions often include giving birth, feeding and weaning, crying, sleeping,
changing relationships, working and the ups and downs of new parenthood.
Courses are £60 per couple and can be booked alongside Antenatal Classes.
Classes are held in the West End of Lincoln. Postnatal courses are also available in the Newark area.
